How a Thunderstorm Forms
A storm is simply a disturbed state in the atmosphere. Each type
of storm, such as thunderstorms, cyclones, tornadoes and hurricans,
follow a certian cycle and occurs in seansons which the conditions are
right for it's formation.
Thunderstorms, for instance are started by updrafts of warm air.
The updraft may start over ground that is heated up more by the sun

Then a cold downdraft strikes from
the directionof the cloud. The wind also shifts and the warm surface
winds that feed the updrafts and the downdrafts striking the ground
and eventually spreading out.
Inconclusion, thunderstoms only last from 30 to 40 bringing
with them unpleasent weather conditionn such as strong winds, heavy
rains, hail and lightning. Since these storms start in the atmosphere,
consequently they can stike at any time when the conditions are right.
