some of which are the typically thought of people of the twenties, Gatsby and Tom, while others are the low class, Wilson. Nick the narrator is one who is only partially involved and that is probably why Fitzgerald chose him as our narrator because he is a little bit of both sides. All in all Fitzgerald accomplished his task of creating a realistic portrayal of the twenties with characters and places that fit the time.
