your brain can trick you. The main reasons are because the brain fills in what it expects to be there. The second major reason is because your brain just gets the messages all wrong. Next time that something looks a bit tricky it probably is an illusion. Perhaps you too can go by the quote, “It’s not an optical illusions, it just looks that way.”
