The most ridiculous reason for hunting I've heard has been that hunting is a way to enjoy nature. Enjoying nature by destroying animals? That has got to be the most backwards logic I've ever heard! I've read stories of men taking their sons out hunting, to 'show them the beauty of nature'. If hunters want to enjoy nature, let them go out and shoot animals..with cameras, not guns.
