Winter De Salis is sixteen and, after twelve long years she is finally returning home to 'Warriewood' in search of her past. Her many great, and not-so-great qualities make her a memorable character. Winter displays her qualities throughout the book. Some characteristics that stood out are stubborn, rude, selfish,friendly, inquisitive, independant, warm and determined. She has many personal qualities which range from being stubborn and rude at the beginning of the book, to being a warm, memorable and accepting character towards the end. Watching Winter mature is certainly interesting, and by the conclusion of the book you see that Winter De Salis is a lovely character.
