The issue I am looking at is what are the advantages and disadvantages of Britain having so many cars. This is quite an important issue because it will affect everyone in the country. If someone did a questionnaire, which asked people to list the advantages and disadvantages of the car you would get totally different answers from every person you asked.
I feel that this is a controversial issue because over 70% of the population own

do damage to the environment. This is because I cannot see anyone inventing a new way of transport that will be as effective as the car.
A way of making cars better would be to eventually find a fuel, which would be cheaper, less damaging to the environment and one that would never run out, or at least be available for a few hundred years until someone finds a new means of transport.
