This also relayed to the world that America was not a country to be reckoned with and were probably considered untouchable for quit some time after their use of the atomic bombs. No one actually knew that the Americans had used up every atomic bomb in their possession, but the point was still clearly seen by most everyone that the United States had the weapons to back up anything they wanted to do.
