School uniforms are becoming popular, in public schools, throughout the nation. All public school systems would greatly improve if they made uniforms part of their policy. There is community support for low-income families who may need help with the cost. School uniforms would raise the self-esteem of many students. These benefits outweigh the disadvantages for all types of families. I am all for school uniforms in public schools.
