This article is about Michigan's Supreme Court. Back in October 2000, Michigan's Supreme Court seats were up for reelection. the Supreme Court is the highest court in the state. The main job of the Supreme Court is to make final decisions on matters of law that are appealed from lower courts. This means that the supreme court should follow precedent but in Michigan's Supreme Court, most of the decisions are based on opinions of the judges, who are mostly conservative and that isn't right.
