Everybody who had relationship with Romeo and Juliet were some kind of responsible for their deaths. They were also some people, who did not want this to happen, and they wanted to help them but things went completely wrong. One of those people was Friar Lawrence.

After all this, I think that friar was not responsible for their deaths. People do mistakes but the mistakes he did turned out to be serious, which he never meant to do. When he gave the potion, he thought that they both could be together again, run away somewhere, and could live happy but it went very wrong. As a conclusion, I think friar was not responsible for their deaths.
