In To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee there was examples of evil, hypocrisy, and injustice. Many characters represent these traits. Jem and Scout were a large part of these things.
In the category of evil, the reader can see three examples very easily just from Bob Ewell. He attacks Jem and Scout in the woods and shows how evil one person can be when the children

proved that Bob Ewell beat his daughter, no charges were brought against him. This is totally unfair, especially to his daughter.
By showing all of these examples of evil, hypocrisy, and injustice, it shows how a town can be so disgusting, yet not even realize it. It is a good thing that Bob Ewell was killed because it seems like he was the major problem of the town and caused many things to go wrong.
