In To Kill A Mockingbird many themes are exposed. A main character, Tom Robinson, identifies with the theme injustice. Tom Robinson was wrongly convicted of rape. Another person that identifies with the theme injustice, in reality, is Rodney King. Rodney King did not see his attackers receive their due punishment, in my opinion. Tom Robinson can be compared to Rodney King in that they both suffered injustice in the courtroom.

He could not beat up the right side of a healthy young woman with only his right arm. The four police officers that brutally beat Rodney King should never have been acquitted with the evidence against them, a videotape of the incident. Rodney Kind is clearly beaten over and over, outnumbered and unarmed.
