In all of the plays by Shakespeare that I have read there are a lot of interesting characters. In reading Timon of Athens I was in introduced to another great character. Through it all Timon comes to the conclusion that he hates all the men that he use to call his friends. Timon is a generous and good character. He saw man as naturally good, but soon learned otherwise. Timon wanted to help his friends he just expected them to return the favor.
