At nine fifteen on august sixth in 1945, an atom bomb of fifteen kilotons was dropped on Hiroshima. It was detonated one thousand, eight hundred feet over the ground. The plane that dropped the bomb was the Enola Gay aircraft bomber. The same thing happened on August ninth over Nagasaki. Radiation is so harsh because people do not always know the bomb had affected them until a few days later. The only good thing that came out of the atomic bomb dropping was that Japan surrendered. It is obvious that the consequences of nuclear warfare far outweigh any of its benefits.
