How can the justice system be unjust? Does it treat
people unfairly because of their strange acts? Acting
strange can be used against a person even though it is
unfair to dot hat. In Albert Camus’ The Stranger, the
character Mersault acts in a strange manor throughout the
book. This causes his death.

thing that he shouldn’t have done was kill the Arab
guy. I think that he should have pleaded insanity because
the heat made him go crazy. I don’t think that he was
dangerous to society like the prosecutor said,and even
though he could have lied about things he didn’t he always
tells the truth even if it hurts him. Mersault is not
really a bad person, he is just very strange.
