Over the 2002 summer, my ten year old cousin, Jackson, went sailing in Alaska. While there he had a once in a lifetime experience, he saw a Orca. The sudden movement of Jackson and his father, spooked the whale, which in turn began to swim away from the dock. When the whale was about fifty feet from the dock, he jumped out of the water and landed on his back. Jackson then believed that was the whales special way of saying goodbye.
