Research Paper: Halloween Halloween, or all hollow's evening is one of the most controversial holidays celebrated today around the world. Webster's dictionary defines Halloween as "...observed...dressing up in disguise, trick-or-treating, displaying jack-o'-lanterns..." (Webster-Miriam).
