Television has a powerful influence of developing value systems and shaping behavior. The fact that television is universally accessible to all different types of people, especially children, is quite upsetting. While I spent hours observing different types of programs, I realized how fortunate I was not to have been brought up in a household where television was at the center of our family. and aggressive behavior. I am happy to say that I personally am not easily influenced by the images that I am surrounded by on television, and it saddens me that most other people cannot say the same thing as they find themselves, knowingly or unknowingly, being constantly trapped by the artificial comforting that television provides. Our television world is a world of false ideals which are trying to be practiced by the future of America.
