Response to Story
It must have been hard on Teddy to live with his aunt and uncle after his parents left him for reasons not
given to us. But Teddy had to live with it and so to make the best of his time with his relatives he had his only
friend, his imagination. Teddy spent hours in his attic playing with his 'paper dolls' as they were called by his
uncle when he furst

of paper which were charecters in his mind. On top of this harcsh reality, when Teddy tried to express his
emotions of anger towards his uncle after he was told this he was scolded for trying to stand up to his uncle.
After this incident, Teddy tore up all his paper dolls and catles and stopped playing with the things he loved
most all because of something said by his uncle.
