It would not be a rare occurrence in our lifetime to engage in some type of group, or group activity. We could encounter these groups in the work force, a social activity, or in the educational setting. However, it does not matter what type of group we may encounter, the entity of the group itself will remain the same. Each group will be a system composed of parts that, in all reality, affect each other

It also help to understand the importance behind boundaries, for without boundaries there wouldn't really be any control or guidelines in a group setting. In fact without boundaries there would be no group. And so without this systems theory there would be no understanding of "interconnectedness", and thus no understanding of what would make one group fail and or one group succeed.
