Have you ever wondered how you compare with the opposite sex in income level, highest year of high school completed, or occupational prestige? If you are white or black, have you ever thought about your equality? when dealing with issues of income, occupational prestige, and level of school completed. On the other hand, I expected that women and men are finally fairly equal in these areas. This study shows the current trends in society between blacks and whites, and men and women. It is important for sociologists to study these variables to make conclusions on issues such as equality, Affirmative Action, and racism.
