The story is, of course, about a pair of star-crossed lovers. Two teenagers pursue their love for each other despite the fact that their families have been at odds with each other for decades. Of course, we feel sorry for him at the end because he didn't get a chance to do much for his son. Romeo ends up dead anyway. The news of that takes out his old lady so, despite his wealth and power, Montague is left with nothing.
