Getting married too early is one of the leading causes of relationship failure in our society today. Various factors can contribute to tension in a relationship, but many of these can be related directly to the age (maturity level, ability to earn a living, education progress, etc.) of the individuals involved. The divorce rate for couples under the age of twenty is incredibly high, as those who marry young are seldom prepared for marital roles.

The best advice I have found is to wait. If it was meant to be, then the partner will still be there waiting, in love with the mature grown up part person, rather than stunting the promise of what it could become.
