Production Scheduling Exercise Starting on 11/6/00, I’m going to research on fabric, looking for a new color/trim, and deciding which company I’m going to order from. A company with a good deal and I can rely on. By 11/8/00, I made up my mind of which company to my fabric, which the delivery will come in 3 or 4 weeks. Then the sewing should start on 2/8/01. Since average turn-around time for the full sewing staff is 2 weeks per style, I schedule them getting done in 2 1/2 weeks, so the sewing should be done on 3/13/01. By 3/15/01, which is the ship day, will be shipping the product and with a completion date of March 30th.
