Gambling, a past time in america that has become as much of a hobby as coin
collecting. Something that as a result more than 5 million Americans have become
pathalogical gamblers, half of which are young people ages 12-17. When you think of
compulsive gambling you would tend to think it would be more of an adult problem, but it
isn't. Due to technological advances this problem is becoming a traumatizing teen
epidemic.

cause amoung youths, and why this
problem is becoming as big as it is. We also now know some of the ways we can attempt
to mend the situation. I'm not saying that gambling as a whole is wrong. If it's legal and
done responsibly then there should not be consequences of great depth. We just need to
try a little bit harder to keep those consequences from getting in the hands of our youth
