Throughout the past year, many people throughout the nation have attempted to continue to live their lives the same as usual even after tragedy. The upcoming anniversary of September 11th reminds many, like myself, of how a nation can be affected by self-less acts that not only killed innocent people, but also killed the security of an entire country. The only thing that I could think of in my mind was all those innocent people who were still in those towers. I was also still worrying for the rest of my family who I did not even have any knowledge of their whereabouts. I walked out of my Algebra class thinking of what had just happened. That day will change my life forever.
