Divorce; the word makes many children shudder when they are young, and many children know the meaning all too well. I, unfortunately, am no exception. I experienced it when I was ten years old. As it is obvious, it is a very different experience having to live through it while being so young.

I was. Thankfully, life was becoming easier as I grew up. I was able to forgive my parents because I had a better understanding of what they were going through at the time. If I had a chance to go back into my childhood and change this situation, I wouldn't. My parents' divorce is what made me mature into the vivacious person that I am today.
