In William Shakespeare's classic tragedy Othello the theme of illusion and reality is

Even though Bianca was thought to be a whore and a dishonest
person that the beginning of the play, her actions through the rest of it were superior causing the
characters to change the way they think of her. Most of the characters at first believe that Iago is
a good and honest man, but they eventually learn more about him and discover that he is not the
man they thought he was.
