What exactly is oppression? Is it being seen as a lower people or just being
made fun of? Is it something that minorities receive from a so-called higher class?
For instance, in "The Ways of Meeting Oppression," Martin Luther King, Jr. states
that Moses tried to lead the children of Israel from the slavery of Egypt to the

After looking at these elements of writing in the two essays, I've decided that Desmond Morris's
essay "Territorial Behaviour" is the most effective. This being because Morris has shown me more
in his essay, than King did in his, by using better organization, development, and far more
explanations throughout the whole essay.
