Discussion
The results were supported by the hypothesis. African Americans had a significantly more positive attitude toward spanking their children than Caucasians. Future research should examined attityudes towards spanking of different ethnic group. No matter what the statistics proves it doesn't mean that Caucasians parents are better than African American because they spank less. It's a matter of the whole parenting strategy and overall environment.
