There are many people in our society today experiencing some form of inequality. Some of these people are being used as scapegoats and have done nothing to try to achieve equality for themselves. During this semester we have read many novels showing forms of inequality and prejudice, but the two that stand out the most are Pigs in Heaven and The Crucible. Others, like John Proctor tried to stand up to the court, but this failed too because the court could never be wrong.
Equality is important for all people of every society to have; because, it allows us all to live in peace without anybody being superior to another. These two novels have shown us different forms of equality and they have shown us not to accept inequality but to do something about it.
