lorful brilliance of the Baroque period pieces. Another fine example of Neo-Classical art are the works of Sir Joshua Reynolds. In his portrait of Miss Bowles and Dog we see the rigid and refined quality, but in a softer side with his subject including a dog. These three artists embodied and helped define this period of time with there return to noble subjects, and to increase the seriousness of freedom, with less frills and lace.
