If it is a belt, glue or stitch the piece to a fabric backing, making sure to tuck the threads under. Beading is an enjoyable project for anybody to work on. It helps to calm anxious or nervous people, and can be rhythmically soothing. The process may seem long, but practice will help, as well as time.
