Lying to the population once and a while is also a good idea. In this day and age, Machiavelli~{!/~}s ideas and thoughts are more conceivable then Lao-Tzu~{!/~}s. Maybe in the future the world will be a more peaceful planet but for now the ideas of Machiavelli shall prevail.
