Jack the Ripper was a multiple murderer in Whitechapel, London, England in the year of 1888. From August 31 to November 9, Jack the Ripper killed five women. In ten weeks he murdered five people, all prostitutes, all in East London, and all ranged in age from their late teens to their seventies.
