Both "Revelation" and "A Good Man is Hard to Find"written by Flannery O'Connor are stories about hypocrisy. Hypocrisy means feigning to be what one is not or false assumption of an appearance of virtue or religion. Most of O'Connor's stories are frequesdtly about characters that receive either the grace of God or its opportunity at the expense of their most cherished illusions. Both stories show that it doesn't matter what kind of life you lead, or what kind of religion you accept if you push the issue it will blow up in your face.
