Culture to me is very significant, especially since it sets a basis for who I am. I believe
the culture my parents have instilled in me, and the cultural values I have learned and seen in American
society adds to my foundation. However, it is my experience and interaction with the Hindu culture that

in order make things successful, it is essential to work together and stand united with those
around you. If the Indians, in America, did not stick together to convey the Hindu culture to the next
generation, the goals and ideals would be lost and the culture would slowly be demolished. Hence, I
feel a filial obligation to stand united with fellow Indians in order to transfer the Hindu culture to the next generation.
