the other characters. Everything she say or does effect how a character will respond or how they will react to what she does. The characters are born due to Edna and her emotions without her the other character would be lifeless.
These two women are perfect examples of ambiguous characters. There situations help them develop into these acentric characters causing them to hide their true identifies and emotions. Edna and Hedda are both morally ambiguous.
