that he was just putting on a show tricked them for a while. In the end the truth came out. Everyone could see that Hamlet was acting crazy. His moods changed abruptly throughout the play, and he was always depressed. Once Hamlet finally admitted that he killed Polonius because he was mad, it was clear that he was not just mad at the end of the play, but he was mad thought the whole play.
