Imagery: Throughout the novel, "The Handmaid's Tale", Margaret Atwood presents an astonishing amount of vivid imagery and description that makes up the style and flow of the novel. However, there are parts that make the reader want to keep reading to unveil the fate of Offred. I found it to be more compelling than 1984, yet still low in my ranks. Despite this, the novel greatly shows that language is a power that shouldn't be take for granted, a lesson that everyone should learn.
