I think this is all valid because Saint Thomas Aquinas is saying that God has to exist sometime in life to make the Earth and nature and so forth. If their were to be a infinity then there would be no first or last causes to have happened. There would be no first or last causes to have happened.
I believe the first reasoning that I have listed is invalid because even if Gob didn't

last or intermediary efficient causes.
R2B. In all such series of causes, a first thing causes one or
more intermediaries and the intermediaries causes the
last thing when taken out of order it is effected.

which everyone understands to be God.
Conculsion: There mut be a first cause.
