In society it is the nature of people to judge, separate and oppress each other. Women have expierenced this first hand, being unheard, underestimated and stereotyped. This has always been accepted but the past two or three generations have decided that things need to change. Society is beginning to change its unjust ways, and feminists are making it happen. To me feminism is women realizing there underestimation in society and the stereotype they have been placed under and the movement to regain what they have been oppressed from. Feminists are resulting in the start of equality of men and women. The only thing that can completely overcome the oppression in our society takes more than just feminism but the alliance between men and women.
