There are many views in which society sees the family unit. In recent years the rate of divorce has sky rocketed. Does this mean that we are becoming a dysfunctional society, becoming more accustomed and willing to accept the role of a single parent, or are we just creating disoriented children? they have grown to make distinct choices throughout their lives. Sandra married at a young age and has experienced the difficulties involved in a divorce. Still yet, they both strive to have a close and united family one day; Myriam, like the family in which she grew, and Sandra, like the one she never had. They both agree that a family would be more stable and united if the two parents were present.
