The Catcher in the Rye, on of the biggest coming-of-age novels, shows a very unique point-of-view in the meaning of the novel on everyday existence. J. D. The author describes this in a depressed tone and for this reason, the reader becomes more sensitive toward the events and understands a little bit more the protagonists life and feelings. But does one tone always express a feeling so everybody recognizes it, or can it be something unpredictable and hard to define?
