Throughout Emily Dickinson's poetry there are three main themes that she always seem to hint on. Death, love, and nature; as well as the impact of those specific words. When discussing these themes she followed her lifestyle and breaks away from traditional forms of writing and chooses to write with an intense energy and complexity that I believe is rarely seen today and that only poets such as Shakespeare have done, before or after Dickinson.
