The topic I am going to discuss today is Drugs in Sport. My contention is that drugs should not be made legal in sports. Drugs in sport is an issue that is always in the spotlight, especially during major athletic events such as the recent and highly controversial, Tour De France. The athletes do not realize the dangers involved with drug taking and doctors can help them by telling them which drug is 'safe' and how much they should take of that drug. Not only that, it will finally allow us to get back to enjoying the sport rather than debating the ethics of performance-enhancing drugs in sport.
