the mind exists by being consciousness. The mind also controls the movement in your body. It is a mystery how the mind knows how things function. There were many things Descartes did not understand about how the mind works. He wonders if we are awake or are we dreaming. Which one is where we really exist, at both times our mind is working properly? He only knows he exist because he is thinking.
