story I learn a lot about the history and life of a young woman. The past struggles and thought about the continues struggles of a people. As I was thinking trying to figure out where are we now are, while some things have change some has not. In conclusion, I really enjoyed the book and could relate and I am thankful for the blacks that fought for the rights that I enjoy now.
