Caste System Ranking
The Hindu society consists of four castes of jatis groups. It's a term primarily to the basic divisions of Hindu society in the India's subcontinent. The highest of the groups is Brahmans, the priestly castes that dominate the groups. Next are the Kshatriyas, traditionally warriors, rulers and large land owners. Third are the Vaishyas, mainly farmers or associated with commerce. The lowest are the Shudras who are the laborers and artisans (compton's 68).

born into. you can not go up or down unless you take drastic measures. there are four main levels in the caste system that most people are familiar with the brahmans, Kshartiyas, Vaishyas and the Shudras. the system has many sub castes but many of them are unnamed or distinguished by regional associations. so if you see a colorful circle on someone, then you will know that they are a part of the caste system.
