Introduction This proposal recommends that the Campus Y support a winter coat drive so as to provide targeted families and individuals migrated from warmer regions with warm clothes. Volunteers supporting the project will be recruited through Carolina and the community. I will advertise and market the idea to local residents (non-students) and students through local newspapers and flyers. Although Thanksgiving is the day people spend with their families, it is often not the case for college students. Students, however, for sure spend their Christmas break at home. This is when they have the chance to raise interest among neighbors and friends, and collect extra jackets that can be donated to the needy families. The timing permits all chosen targets to contribute their share.
